I honestly expected BigFoot to show up and be the killer. Bkoodman is a thrilling combination of events and puzzles and character drama that had me guessing up to the final haunting twist at the end. There are some horrifying elements in this story—there has to be—but roert it horror? When a twisted serial killer strikes nearby, the local sheriff is ill equipped to battle an increasingly bold killer. I loved the writing. That book cover is awesome! I love reading about serial killers – I even started a Serial Killer Reading Challenge so the excitement and expectation is already set high. Overall, this novel is a dark, chilling, and extremely unforgettable read.

Hard enough to bust blood vessels in her eyes. I hope it does well as the author robfrt deserves kudos for his work. By robery time I got half way I was starting to get bored, I felt numerous things were being repeated and not benefiting the investigation so they felt like filler instead of adding to the story.
I wish I could have rated this novel as a 10 Star, because it was so amazing. Jake Cole has avoided Montauk for over a quarter of a century, having nothing but negative memories to associate with his hometown.

Currently Robert has no plans to bring back Jake Cole in future novels and readers will find it is his use of language and writing style they will recognize from book to book — not characters or genre. An uncompromisingly dark and brutal psychological thriller with one hell of a twist. What a disappointment and waste of a great story idea, concept, characters, etc. The writing is dark and gritty. The author has rlbert cleverly painted clues into the layers upon layers that make up the final picture. And it was unusual that he had lost those four months.
Lists with This Book. A difficult thing to pull off anymore. With the storm pounding Montauk back to the stone age, Cole is desperately pursuing answers and the killer.
